Once i tried to go get Yuffie before cloud tells his story about his past in Kalm, but after i got a chocobo and crossed the marsh and entered the cave, it wouldnt let me go any further, i was bothered.

Well you have to keep her talking, don't do anything that takes your eyes off her (going in the menu, saving your game)
And act like you don't care about fighting again.
e.g. when she says "you scared?" say " petrified"
when she says "come on one more time" "not interested".
At the end you say wait a minute.. and then lets press on or something.

I had to find out how to answer her myself.
I spent so long there trying to find her that I was level 30 before I reached Junion.
When i was trying to get vincet I forgot that the 4th line is invisible!
I got up to level 40 there!
I realy helped me rip anything in my way!

To get her you need to answer:
"Not interested"
".......petrified"
"Wait a minute"
"That's right"
"Let's move on"
Or something similar to that or she runs off, sometimes taking your Gil (First two and last one)

I'm usually level 50 before I even reach Nibelheim :/ With level 3 magic too.
