Your Opinion
You can find the full details of this on my blog (for those of you who don't know, click the website button underneath my signature).
Put simply, a representative of a website has sent me an e-mail offering to pay me money for my blog providing I occasionally make positive blog posts about what their clients do. What I want your opinion on is whether I should submit my blog in the hope of earning money that I could do with, or do I keep my individualism?
You can post your opinion in this topic, PM me, or send me an e-mail (address is on the latest blog post).
Also, if you decide to read the blog post below it that I made a reference to at the beginning of the one about this then I apologise for having my own opinion. 
EDIT:
It just occurred to me that this might seem like advertising my blog, which I can asure you isn't the purpose of this post.

It would be more of an investment to paying off accomodation/tuition fees. I'm not concerned about moving forwards in the world of blogging.

Really depends on who their clients were and what products they handle. you wouldn't want to end up supporting someone who ten months from now is investigated for child labor law infractions or something worse. in essence you want to do as much investigating and ask as many questions as you can.
but... if it was me, i'd do it.. much like fith, i'm a money love'n SOB...

I was just looking at their website again and came across this in their FAQ:
"Can I write what I want in the blog posting?
We want you to feel free to express your opinion. However, you cannot use problem language such as: adult content, profanity, hate or violent language, and your posting must be correctly spelled."
It seems I can keep my individualism so long as I'm not too much like myself.
EDIT:
They ask for a minimum of 100 words for each blog post linking to which ever company gets me to write for them, which is an insane amount for a company I've probably never heard of. I think I'll wait and see if there are any more realistic ways to earn money with a blog.

I'd say stick to your guns and if you guns happen to be your fingers typing away on the keyboard continue doing what you're doing, but I wonder how many of these emails or whatever get sent out to people who write blogs.
While I'd love to be paid for something I do in my spare time I doubt it'll be a lot. Like Trooper said as well, you never know what these products are and I'm sure your blog might be a little tarnished when suddenly you say, "and folks let me just take a minute out of my musings to talk about Woody's Hardening Cream, for the times you need hard wood fast (followed by 74 more words describing said product)" :p
If you like money, get a part-time job. At least then you could, depending on where you work, get inexpensive games, food, or clothing? Or books or anime or both?

I'm sure they have the ability to monitor the number of hits and pay accordingly, that is, if they are a reputable company with a competent marketing division.

They claim not to send an e-mail to every blogger. I think that they probably have some automatic e-mail for when bloggers reach a certain amount of blog posts on the website I've got mine on.

It's probably better not to take an offer unless you know the company's totally legit.
Just be careful if they ask you for any personal info, or if they ask for any weird links to the blog that itself might contain personal info.
Because sometimes their aim may not be to steal your identity or something, but to get your email and give it out to a bunch of random dorks who'll be sending you nothing but junk mail.
So honestly, I'd say first and foremost, learn more about them. Or you might start getting spam like there's no tomorrow.
