I have a small one too, and it works just fine even though I leave it on for large amounts of time.
And don't purchase a memory card from ebay, that's a bad move. Just go to your local game store and buy one. It isn't that hard. If you live in the U.S. you could also just go to Fred Meyers. They carry that kind of stuff.

yeah..cos the big one has some kind of inner ventilator...thats why it doesnt burn xD...u can install a ventilator in the small one..but it costs =O

all ps and xboxes have those, but you can put a fan next to it so it keeps it kool, i did it for my laptop over the summer.
