I have the small one and I'm sure I've played it for at least 5 hours at one point, it's never even got hot. But I did hear that they can burn, but I am really careful with mine.

I did hear that there was quite a few problems wioth it, but I have a feeling that they rereleased it to make it safer, so if you have an early one, then be careful
