xenosaga II
just got it today for 14.99. booyah. i heard it was better than the first considering the first one was more like watching a movie than playing a game. 8+ hours of clips in the first one. no idea how this one is supposed to stand up to it. anyone play it through? was it worth the 14.99?

Just yesterday, i was browsing through EB and Games Wizards, and saw that game, the graphic looks pretty cool though, looks alot like Star Ocean.
$14.99 USd ?thats probably around $30-$40 AUd, That price is pre-owned.
But it was still new here, Nobody bought it yet here, so it was still $99.95 AUd

I own the first one and it is like he said, xut scene after cut scene, and some of the battles are ridiculusly hard (even by Final Fantasy Standards). I did'nt mind the game play but I do not like how they turned the second game 180 by changing the figures to a more western look when the first one had a more anime feel to it.

i think the whole idea of the future being kinda western (big theme in the tv series firefly which went off the air) is kinda cool.

soul reaver 2 was awful bad for the cut scenes aswell apparently about 90% of the disk memory was movies

Good thing I found this topic becauuuuuusseee
Yesterday I bought Xenosaga 2!
Now, as Omni said earlier there is no Xenosaga 1 in PAL regions (Europe/Australia/NZ) but what I got with my Xenosaga 2 box was a dvd of episode 1. It's pretty much just all the cutscenes from the game I think, which means it's a poorly done dvd and insanely hard to follow, not to mention exruciatingly long. But I guess they had to put it in there so we could understand the story so far.
So yeah I just got this game, watched the dvd, and am about to start playing
