We could share here the situations and moments in Final Fantasy that switched our 'WTF?!?!' mode on.
I have to admit that this idea isn't quite original
I think my moments are mostly during battles not plot scenes, I just usually have my mouth open in the later ones...
One of my wtf moments is from FFIX:

When Necron appeared after defeating Kuja for the first time! The music and the quotes that appeared made me shake a bit, I was about 12 at the time, and then there was Necron and I thought I was done for... no chance I'd have guessed it's actually easier than Kuja.
Though seriously if Im out walking around in the night to ASDA with the pedo/rapist/murderer/psycho of questionable sanity vampy....who do I have to be afraid of? XD

for me that would have to be when Rikku randomly striped in front of Tidus after meeting her again. i was like okay it's rikku awesome -rikku starts to strip- O.O wtf is she doing xD keep in mind i was like 10 at the time.
My wtf moment was when the screen was scrolling up after meeting kuja for the first time
then you get to the torso and realise it is a dude XD
At least you noticed, I kept questioning his gender until someone referred to him as 'he' lol

My friend dragged me to watch that scene before I played the game myself, I didn't even realize she was underwater earlier... all I saw was stripping haha

my wtf moment is when tidius washed up on the shore and he kicks the blitzball way out there and when you play blitzball your actually underwater. well sort of. and cid is a good guy gone crazy where in ff12 he is a utterly crazy dude. and vaan asked fran her age she is 78 by the way but still she walked off. i had no idea what happened.
Mine what have to be....when Hope was getting ready to kill Snow in 13 and he ended up causing and explosion of green to come from his body. At first I though it was his summon but the random explosion then Snow saving him confused me and made me go wtf. Because Snow knew now that hope wanted to kill him but still carried him with broken ribs and everything. Either that mans stupid or he just has major kindness coupled with ego
I just remembered there was a time in FF10 with the Aeons my wtf was when Shiva was revealed >.> cuz i was like 12 an taught all woman should be fully clothed and then comes shiva barely any clothes on and with Ice none the less, oh and how in FFX everyone has freakin lungs of steel go underwater for 3 hours no problem.
Mines was when I faced against Sephiroth (final battle) in ff7.
It felt like he knew every trick I had in mind. I used and made Tiffa to become a healer, Cloud to be a strong hitter, and Yuffie to be the 9999 bomber!
He kept killing Yuffie. Every time Tiffa tried to revive her, she kept falling before she could make a turn. Cloud always turned to a toad, with only a few good hits in there. This left Tiffa alone most of the bout and not very strong (having her focused on healing throughout the game--ESPECIALLY when Aeris was gone ).
I had to make a fast... I mean FAST decision to either revive Yuffie, fix Cloud to be normal again, or attack with Tiffa. The circumstance was heavy, since Cloud and Tiffa were about to die in one turn. Sephiroth was fast and ready to destroy the solar system again!
So I choose to just let Tiffa punch him! And low and behold, Sephiroth was fading. It was epic. The most intense battle I ever experienced! Felt like I won a million dollars when it ended.
