Worm thingy at Bevelle
You know the worm thingy at Bevelle when you're trying to save Yuna from marrying Seymour? I don't remember it's name, I just remember 'the red carpet has teeth', so I call it the Red Carpet with Teeth in my head, or, as I've just realised, Rect (REd Carpert with Teeth). Hahah. Anyway, I have a lot of trouble with it. Could anyone give me a GOOD, SOUND way to beat it? I've looked up hundreds but it never works.

If you are talking about that flying thing near Bevelle, ya know the one you fight from the airship?
First, their levels should be good enough for this.
Okay at first it's close to the airship, use everyones overdrives to hite him, then pull back, make him far to the airship, the best three to use are Lulu, Wakka and Rikku (as I remember) use Lulu's black magic, use the fire gem or ice gem with Rikku (it should cause around 3500 dmg) and when you need to heal them use al behd poiton with Rikku.
Then there will be a time where you can't pull back and he will keep attacking you, so use Yuna and bring the aeons, that should kill him.
But if your lvls are so good you don't need to do all that, just attack lol

YUna is not in your party remember.......
try using slow on the monster and keep using item of rikku..magic of lulu....use albhed potion when hp is low..

Mix is enough....Hastega is really helpful...HIgh lvl magic like Firaga helps a lot too...

If you trained wakka from the beginning like me then its way to easy to beat it. Just use wakkas attack reels if you have it or else just use a lot of al bhed potions

Don't bother using elemental magic, it is resistant to all 4. Just use the tips already given.
A couple of tips for overdrives. For Wakka, hit X (or O in INT) one before the one you want. For Lulu, all you have to do is rotate the right analog stick constantly. The number of spells will also depend on the fury picked.

for lulu's overdrive i really have a hard time...my hand keep on slipping on the analog stick...

You can hit it with any weapon when Evrae is close. Only Wakka can hit it physically from far.
