used to play it years ago after rtcw, was a nice break from q3. although playing the same 6 maps over and over got repetitive in the end. i'm sure there are a load of custom maps now though.
have you tried ETQW? i'd been playing the beta and it was laggy as hell (fair enough my specs are way below the minimum), but the demo that was released yesterday is much smoother, so its playable for me now.

i was about to bring that up, im playing the demo and its very fun, almost too much like the battlefield games though.

not played battlefield. it does feel very much like an evolution from ET though. it seems fun to me, but i'll wait for my new rig to arrive before i decide just how fun it is.
