Yup, it occasionally helps me to see things through a non-admin account. That way I know for certain how the site looks to a normal member.

I use two browsers at the same time. With this account I always use Firefox, and I fire up Internet Explorer when I need to use the other one.

I use firefox too. I find it so much better than IE. Using IE allows ad-ware to pop up, forefox doesn't, and the nifty features like the mini search bar at the top right are cool.
Also, if you don't count Thoul II, I'm the only priest/Vicar.

I use both IE and Firefox. There are tons of people who use Firefox as their primary, but I do not since a lot of sites have bad design that makes their site look weird in Firefox, and you cannot view a lot of cool css or javascript effects and makes some sites look a bit plain. Although Firefox is great security wise, I rather use IE as my primary and just run my ad aware scan everyday. If someone were to ask which browser were better Firefox would win, but in my case it is just a matter of preference. Plus I like to use my IE favorites as links to directories on my own harddrive, something that I haven't figured out or cannot do with Firefox.

I use an ad-ware scanner as well, "Ad-Aware 6.0" and it gets rid of the problem initially...When I start up IE again my home page pops up (usually it's some random search engine). Then when I go to a site, like hotmail the ad-ware pops up again,it got so bad I cant even read my mail because the website changes to that search engine. It annoyed me for the last time so I switched to the 'fox, lol.

The main thing that drew me to Firefox is that it's essentially an advancement of the old Netscape browser without a lot of extra programs like IM and address books built in. I used Netscape 3 back when I first started getting on the internet, and I've just always prefered the way Netscape/Mozilla displays pages. I had to switch to IE for a year so because Netscape 6 & 7 were almost complete garbage that couldn't run on my computer. I couldn't have dropped it faster when I heard about Firefox.
As far as security goes, there are a lot of "skin" programs that add extra features to IE and make it much more secure. I use one called Avant Browser; it's fast, small, and adds many of the great security features also found in Firefox.

Ahh AvantBrowser...
I'm surprised no one here uses Opera 8 as their main.
Also lately I've heard the later versions of Firefox has been going downhill.
Btw there's no TOS against making multiple accounts in this forum is there?
I thought the two browser thing is illegal in some forums.
(Promotes self talking or some other sort of weird things)

Cool Thoul, yeah I suppose it all depends on what browser you have started out with. I began with IE since that is what my school and other computer related jobs offered so I just have gotten so used to it's navigation layout and options that changing to a new browser was just too different for me.

Not really. Firefox is just getting more popular, so it's getting more intense scrutiny than it had in the past. More bugs and security holes are being found these days, but that's just because people are only starting to look for them now. If IE had just started getting wide use a year ago, it would be in the same situation. You don't hear much about new security holes now in IE because a bunch have already been found.

Good point about the popularity. I guess Opera is still classified as a "not as popular as Firefox and IE" browser just yet
