How is the Wii internet impossible to beat? You cant even play games on it. You can see the news, weather, browse the internet and talk on forums...but you can do that on the PS3 also. You can browse the interent, which would allow you to find the news and weather and chat on forums, including this site. You can also hook up a keyboard and a mouse to a PS3, unlike a Wii. Both can download games, too.
The only real difference in internet with the PS3 and Wii is the PS3's ability to play games online, which, for a console, is the most important part in it's online capabilities.

to be honest, all 3 systems are good but in the long run... ps3 will win. the wii has no chance of winning this generation. its basically a gamecube. it should have came out 5 years ago. ps3 will end up having many many more great titles that ppl will care about while the wii will only get a few every now and then and ppl will slowly get tired of the controller and loses its hype. the wii is overrated and ain't that great, some ppl just haven't figured that out yet and refuse to believe the rest of us til 3 years later when it actually happened just like the gamecube and ps2... ps2 won in the longrun and still saling millions and remain to be the #1 console

oh, if you actually thought wii has better online service than ps3... your retarded, no offence but get your head out of nintendo's @$$ and smell the roses, PSN is actually a great service thats free and still being worked on while no games on the wii even has online yet or hardly at all, surprised me that no1 isn't even talking about that right now. the wii is lacking of capabilities

More people trust Sony because of the great consoles of the PS and PS2. The Wii is going to bore a lot of people with the controller I think after a while as well. I know a kid at my school who thought it was awesome after a week and then the next week he took it back. The PS3 will be much more popular in the long run especially with the games that will be released on it.

im sorry for that kid who took it back,
i love my wii. i have fun every time i play it, it is an amazing console that has infinite replay value.
also, the Wii is good with the ladies.. no other console has EVER gotten my mom, grandma, uncle, my ex-girlfriend, my new girlfriend to all play.. somtimes together.
hell my cousin bought the wii even though he (was) a hardcore PS fan (the price killed the PS3 for him, he now owns a 360) who LOATHES nintendo... he only bought one because when he was over, his wife, who hates games.. played Wii Sports with us.
he waited in line 3 hours to get one just to get his wife to play games with him.

i honestly dont know anymore.
it wont die, thats for sure, but it wont have such an obvious lead over the competiton this time around. if anything it will lead by maybe 5% to 10% rather than the over 100% on the last generation.

I hope the PS3 is a success but right now only 12% of worldwide console sales are for the PS3 (40K a week and still dropping), 360 sells 25% of the consoles a week and Wii is at over 60% and supply constrained.
The hard thing for the PS3 is that the 360 is selling more worldwide when nobody buys it in Japan. The gap is growing between the 2 consoles rather than shrinking and Sony cannot afford a price drop either where MS can. I think Sony better hope the 360 price doesen't get reduced but there probably ok there because MS and Sony seem to be waiting for each other to make the first move.
I honestly can't see Sony digging themselves out of the hole there in this time. Even with the games they have shown as big 1st party exclusives for the end of the year. They look good but I don't think theres enough of them. The 360 even seems to have quite a well comparable lineup in some cases better. It will be interesting to see what happens.
