Will the next FF be even worse than IX, XI, X & X-2?
Well... most people think that the Final Fantasy series best games have been VII & VIII...
And most people know that IX, X, XI, X-2 have not been as influential as their predecessors and get worse the later it has been released. (although the graphics get better the game seems to dissipate away)
So will the next one will be even less fun or do you think that the developers have gotten some sense in them and will make it better?

well, i think that from 7 and 8 the games have only gotten better, and those ppl who think so have excluded other final fantasy realated games squaresoft made after 7 and 8 like kingdom hearts 1 and 2, which where VERY good, and i think that 12 qill be one of the greatest ff games out there

Well i for one really liked 10 and 9... 10-2 well....it was a little too "bubbley" for me......but I also liked 7...8 On the other hand was not my bag of cookies......i dunno why i just did'nt LOVE it like the others i have played. But I think FFXll is going to be really good, well I'm hopeing in that direction anyway. I mean I already have my resereved and everything.....yup I really can't wait until I get my copy. *sigh*

I have high expectations for FFXII since it's spent so long in production, and that FFX-2 really stunk, so it can only go uphill from there lol.

Well I'm glad they made FFX-2 so you could finish the story, but they just killed the whole mood with cute games like "catch the chocobo" or "sell the baloons" and having to fight the same weak fiends over again on the same roads they did 2 years ago.
I'll be glad to start a new Final Fantasy with new characters etc. Even if it's not as good as FFX or FF7, I'll probably still enjoy it.

Yea. I really liked the whole finishing of the story thing...I mean the secrect ending...awww.....but....yea I did'nt feel like a Final Fantasy game to me really.

Well now that you've all told me that the ending for FFX is open and you have to play X-2, that's the final straw for that piece of crap game. I'm putting it down now before I waste another hour on it... as for the other's
VII : Best game ever
VIII : Very good the second time through once you pay more attention to the story... not so good the first time
IX : Loved it every time, don't know why anyone would have a problem with it.
I trust that Square/Enix (*hisses at enix for screwing up everything they touch*) will do just fine on XII and XIII.
