Why the "Final Bosses" were so easy. SPOILERS
Have you ever wondered why the battles agianst the Aeons and Yu Yevon were so freakin' easy? Well, I think I have the answer. The truth is, that the Aeons and Yevon, dare I say, are not the final bosses. Jecht is the final boss of of the game. Now before you guys start lashin' out, here's why I think so:
The Jecht battle can be lost. If you loose to Jecht, it's game over. However, during the Aeon and the Yevon battles, your a automatically Auto-Life'd. Even if you do die, you get the status back on you.
You can zombie both Jecht and Yevon, but Jecth's zombie wears off in a matter of turns. As far as I encountered, Yevon's does not at all.
Jecht, in total, has far more HP than the Aeons, for the most part, and Yu Yevon.
Also, during the Aeon Battles, you hafta win agianst your Aeons, and the battle difficulty depends on how you rasied them.
The Aeon battles and Yu Yevon are for simply story completion and resolution. The programers made it so that you cannot loose you get to see the ending. These battles are simply story battles you fight. Tidus settles his story at the end of the Jecht fight, but there are still holes, which the following battle fill.

Oh, I see. But that's why I think the programmers did it. It was intetntional, yes? And that seems to be the most logical explaination.

Yes it was intentional, it makes sense in the story that they're so easy. In Bevelle just before fighting Sin, the fayth say they'll help despite the fact you can summon and use them throughout the pilgrimage. Also remember that the aeons you're fighting against are YOUR aeons. If they were beefed up, Braska's Final Aeon would be a joke. As for Yu Yevon, Sin was supposed to be its armour. If he was that powerful, he wouldn't need Sin in the first place.
Besides, you'd be pretty annoyed if you lost to Yu Yevon after beating Braska's Final Aeon and all your aeons.

If you're talking about your Aeons using something like that, don't bother. The only thing the Aeons will use are there speical moves and Overdrives. Kinda a dissapointment, becasuse I wanted them to attack me with other stuff. ::sigh:: Dissapointed. BUt, it is humerous when Yuna does 99,999 with a regular attack and wipes out Bahamut in one shot, lol.
Anyway, back on track, don't count on anything other than the usual from the Aeons.
