Why not an "are u getting the DS thread"
I know DS was aboard a long time ago and now its DS lite, im just asking like those who didnt get it yet or arent going to or dont plan to or whatever.
are you geting the DS? i know its all hot with the wii and PS3
but the DS is a must i should say, more now than the PS3 or the Wii.
i think its the BEST alternative, until the other consoles's prices cool down a bit, and i think it shows plenty of entertainment till that.
i mean clubhouse is infinite playtime, lostmagic sounds from the reviews... like a MUST (still havent played) and FF3, is really a must for fans that liked the crystal/jobs system.
and theres more....
i mean really we should be (i did) getting DS Lites.... right? whos with me.
ps: i think the touch screen sucks for some games, IE, FF3, since i recalibrated it myself by accident and been triying to fix it by myself, i been failing at touching the small char/mons sprites that or not pushing hard enought or with the correct timing. its just useless for traditional rpgs i think. but i cant wait to test it in the adv games or whatever.
well the entertainment is mostly coz of the titles i think... i mean wifi has it coming, i got to get magiclost and clubhouse >.<!

I'm not a big fan of touch screen or dual screen and even less after playing Metriod Prime. I like the wireless connections, but I am sticking to GBA b/c i dont really like the PSP either.

yhea psp doesnt feels the least kwel or cool i think.
i thought that handheld consoles should be at least a bit kwel like the gameboys.

psp is coolness in a can. the ds just seems lame and gimicky (like the wii to be honest, but thats a seperate matter alltogether).

Im not gonna get a DS because I have my PSP. So many great games coming up and so many great games I need to get. At the moment im currently playing through GTA:VCS and Breath of Fire 3. I need to play Loco Roco, FF7 Crisis Core when it's out and Jeane of Arc a great looking RPG made by Level 5 and Square I think.
The only games on DS that interests me is DQ9 and FF3. Im not too bothered about FF3 though and DQ9 may be good because I liked DQ8 but if its an action RPG like its looking im not gonna bother.

Yeah metroid prime hunters sucks on the ds, I played it on Wednesday and I couldn't control it too easily, they should have planned it better.

I just joined the forum, but can honestly say we probably won't be getting the DS. We have two Adv. SPs and they're fine for the time being. We're considering getting a Wii sometime after the new year.
