It's all a matter of opinion, one person could love this game, but the next person could hate it... personaly, I don't think it's that bad, I liked it

and i liked 9 more than 7 because all the characters were better...i dont mean every single one but as a whole
mainly cuz i didnt like cait sith lol and quina was awesome
but it was a lot more fun to me tho
but cloud and sephiroth r still the greatest hero/villain combo

Why must you always make us sound like a bunch of perverts and besides Garnet looks like a lil kid there is no hot girls in that game. I liked havign 4 people fighting with you and the fact that Ark looked cool even if it wasnt nothing specail for the limited 9999 damage.

there really arent many hot girls in games...i mean if u think so thats kinda weird lol
but yea the only reason people like 7 better is probably bcuz of sephiroth and cloud
and maybe because of the graphics of9
but the thing about 7........way too easy and there was no thinking about who to use....u could use anyone
9 there were the classes which made it cooler than 8 and 9 to me

Dead or alive had hot girls and ever since Dead or Alive 2 you noticed causei n the 1st one they didnt look that good it was on old playstation while DOA2 waso n PS2 and Dreamcast and then 3 and 4 own aswell.

The problem is that most of the people didn't like the cutsey style of the characters. And this game was geared more or less to the older ff fans.(You know the ones that played 1-5)
But I like the game, it tackles the idea of existence and nihilism. About finding one's purpose in life despite the fact that they were manufactured.

........the main character had a tail.........yep........cool people dont like theifs with tails.....
it was a good game...infact it was an awesome game.......but wasnt jack * compared to 7 lmao......sepheroth would whip kujas ass all day long...........just like could would kick zidanes ass till his tail fell off

Kuja and Ziddane both had tails and i think they were related or connected somehow but thats jumpnig ahead and a spoiler. Final Fantasy 8 was the only real love story believe it or not because even FF10 didnt have much love between Yuna and Tidus it was Tidus who liked Yuna and only when he kissed her in the forrest did she understand but there was always the possabillity she always liekd him she liekd having him around. What ever my ponit is the guy above me is right the main character didnt seem great they shoudla made Steiner the main character.

lol ure just sayin that cuz hes a warrior/knight class
but the thing ppl dont realize is that this game there was much more character development over all other ff's
i mean zidane, vivi, steiner and garnet grow a lot
but yea the game loses a lot of credit mainly bc of the main character
but zidane isnt the only main character....vivi and garnet r more important supporting characters than any others in previous games
