Why do you have to lvl up?
I want to battle a bit more at the lower levels.
and it doesn't allow me to unless I level up!
Is there anyway around that? Or can we turn it off?

you don't have to lvl up all it is doing is tilling you can as long as you don't make ANY post ANY where you won't lvl.

Possbly has been changed...
I know people like me used to exploit the crap out of the system and just fight at lvl 98 without leveling and rake in millions of gil per day, so that may have been why.

I never lost gil with a class... but I have a few tricks I'm not entirely willing to share  especially since in recent days I've been out bid on varion blade, and vaders helmet... 
My question is... Now you can't do anything at lvl 99... period... which makes all lvl 99 items pointless... maybe set exp to lvl on lvl 99 as 99,999,999? That way people can still farm gil but they have to earn it.

FuN doesn't want the game to be too easy and generally speaking it is easy. The harder classes are supposed to cost you gil. You should have to buy healing items to get thru the class but there are some people who can make it without that.

I tried to get rid of all lvl 99 battle items excluding the collectibles, if I missed any just let me know.
We don't want anyone to "farm" for gil, its exploiting the game to get free gil. We provide free gil via bank interest. Or the members can do contests/lotteries.

It's a good feature for old members who have millions of gils, but for the new members it would make the game harder and we probably won't be getting rich anytime soon XD
I don't mind the challenge though, the rp is fun
