I didn't find Fang/Vanille's relationship to have lesbian overtones. I think they are just good friends who got thrown into a bad situation. Sure your going to either become closer or hate each other, but it doesn't mean your in each other's pants now.

Well not all summons have genders, it's the way you see it, I've always saw Shiva as a woman, just like Ifrit as a man, but a lot of them are entirely or partly just machines. I guess it goes back to the image society implanted about gender and stuff.
Oh Fang is totally lesbian haha, I know it is terrible stereotyping to say that the way she acts says that about her, but add to it the "caring" quotes she throws here and there says it all. That's what I think at least. Vanille's side of the relationship is probably less obvious than Fang's. Maybe because she is like the "woman" as there is like a typical man-woman type of thing in every relationship.
So, all girls who want to be Fangs here.... it has been said!

lol tbh I never thought of Fang and Vanille relationship to be lesbian...in any way...I don't think it is imo...maybe there are certain vibes from Fang, she could actually fit the role sure but...I don't think she is anyway...
