Well you know what XII was a good game...just not a good ff game...as has been said
and its true that people do go all crazy for VII and X...but I still think both of those are better then XII XD...in every way too...not just that VII or X was better at one thing and so XII sucks balls...no....VII and X in my opinion had a better storyline/gameplay/character development...and that stuff is important...although I guess XII might when the graphics...but I dunno if that really even counts as its the newest one...it kinda has to have better graphics.

if it is newer then you would think that they would learn from their mistakes and fix them.. so it should be better in every way..

but unfortunately it isnt..

I do like the tactical side of it and the gambits adn such..

i disliked the gambits, the game is to be played not to watch being played, i only used one or two gambits when i played i didnt want to use them, the game was a good pastime, and lvling i found fun, but it was still not a FF XD

I've said it a few times but I'll say it again XD I agree with arc...gambits are evil...they defeat all purpose of the game. If there are guides out there that teach you how to just put gambits on and leave your game running all night so you can level...thats a serious problem. I payed to play a game not watch one XD

Che.
If you get your strategy in your head that you are going to probably use over and over just like I usually end up doing in every final fantasy, you are basically just watching the game anyway. You just have to go through the time and effort of making it work over and over. So I loved gambits. I loved them to death. And it STILL felt like FF to me. I'm not going to lie: I had gambits in place so that I could sit back and watch every single battle. And I still loved it.

thats cos you are endy and you see romantasism in everything but (and i know the originals didnt have a bloody love story so dont come telling me thatXD) FF now HAS to have a love storyXD
or at least a story fgsXD
i though ff12 storyline was,, boring, the peices you leanrn are not in depth, they are too far apart, and they are obvious, dont see they arent cos they are XD

EDIT: except that (name starts with L?) kid being the opposite sex i thought it was cos that was creepy as * xD

There is a guide how to do this in FFX-2 as well. It involves a rubber band though to press x lol.

pretty sure there is one on gamefaqs...it tells you to go to a certian place and what to put on and then you just set the thing down and walk away...I never did it cuz I didnt want to but it is there XD

You can put rubber bands on x for 7? I feel sad now XD...though I still give them points for actually having to press a button vs. XII where you had to do nothing XD

Really? XD Thats sad...but again I respect the fact you actually had to press a button down where as XII you had to do nothing XD

The gambits didn't set themselves up -_-

plus you had to buy the gambit...
and the spell...
and the license...

Plus you can technically cheat like that on most FF games.

6 had the Lete River trick...

But that didn't stop it from being the most kickass FF XD

I still play this occasionally. Recently beat Yiazmat (1 sitting :D) and got the wyrmhero blade. I've started doing a 122333 game and decided not to abuse Penelo before going into the palace (challenge junkie)

Sadly, my PS2 broke before I could do most of the stuff I wanted :/
So I didn't get to see the gender bending fun. ;-;
but I do remember that if I HAD put a rubber band down I could have done something like that...
But I don't do that. I wanted to see every battle.
And yes...
I do romanticize everything.
I guess that makes me an awful critic because I can find the beauty in something and focus only on that. XD
