Cyan sucks most of the game. LOCKE, on the other hand, is easily my favourite. He's good in fighting, has fun lines, and a great background. Gau is really useful, if you use his rages right. Same with Umaro. The trick with Umaro is to make sure he attacks right after Sabin, then the enemy suddenly gets 2 BumRushes in a row!^^ Great fun to watch =P

I'd have to say Realm and Strago their attacks were so terrible that I couldn't stand to use either of them.
For the actual FFIII I'd have to say Arc but that's because I always made him either a mage or scholar for the disposable characters my least favorite was the princess...she wasn't useful.
