Then, f***, what kinda comp u got? 95? The comp i on right now only need a video card to handle obvilion, the proclaimed best looking game so far, and this comp's 5 fricken years old. If you have a comp that requires you to change it all, you need to chuck it out the window and get a new one, cuz its OLD.
you could run oblivion on a $400 PC at the bare minimum settings.
or you can run it on a 360 and get the best visual settings.
trying to say that buying a new video card is the same as getting a 360 when the 360 will become outdated in 4 years... is quite absured as a video card remains "top of the line" for a maximum of 6 months.
in 3 years, the 360 will STILL beable to play new games at amazing visual quality.
while that video card that you bought will begin to struggle to play the new games.
That may just be because you are the head of the Funender Garden, and I played 2 professor characters, so you seem like my boss now permanently in my mind. XD

The graphics look awesome and the new games look like the best I have ever seen! Personally I am REALLY looking forward to Devil May Cry 4 and Assassin's Creed as some huge titles!
Even so, I still have to give a hand to the new Xbox 360 for Gears of War and other great looking games.

I think the Xbox 360 is great and all but, it is a HUGE stretch to say that it will blow the PS3 out of the water! Both systems have great graphics and seem to have really cool and fun looking opening titles. Ex- Devil May Cry 4 (PS3) or Gears of War (Xbox 360).
I think it will be really close between both systems.
Also, don't leave out the Wii. While it may also cover some kiddy games it has some good looking ones ( Zelda is coming back and looking better than ever!) and the new controller and such should make it worth a look at.
I'de have to say the Wii. You're getting a great system for an Unbelieveable price. With motion sensing controllers and great visuals, how can you not like the Wii?
XBox 360, Meh..... I love DOA4... but I don't think that is enough to save this console. Its great and all but Not on the top of my list. A tad overpriced and a not-so-good game selection so far.
PS3- Now this one would take me a while to get, I also wanna see what it is capable of first. The whole BlueRay thing isnt what should win people over. It kinda looks like a printer XD
Im rooting for PS3...and yeah FFXI wasnt a very nice game. Playable but not good. XD all the XI players are pissed the XI is now on XBox anyways cuz of the flood of noobs to their precious game. Lol losers.
the nintendo revolution is looking good for me. for a few reasons:
1. its the cheapest.
2. its go the motion controler thingy
3. it brings back memories of super mario 64.
and 4. its got twilight pricess on it
I like the PS3, mainly because of the graphics it has for some of the newier games. Im not saying Xbox has bad graphics because there are games that have some amazing graphics, Halo 2 being one of them. but i got use to the PS2 faster than the XBox, so im hoping to get into the PS3 even faster.

why should i pay $600 for something that is called a 'bargain' when i can get the same experiece, if not a better experience, from a $400 product. hell even the $250 product will give you a similar if not better experience as well.

say i buy a fishing rod for $200, i then turn around and offer to sell it to you for $130, im losing money on the fishing rod, but you can still find a similar rod from somone else for $80. why would you still buy the $130 rod if you can get the same thing for $80 elsewhere?

im saying if they got rid of the Blu-Ray drive and used DvD9 then not only would the games be the same as if they were on blu-ray... but the whole console would be $200 cheaper. AND it would be guaranteed to outsell the 360. rather than right now its kinda looking like it will be close.
Ya but they most likely wanted to change up the way they made both the game and the hard-drive. They had pretty much the same thing for the other two playstations, so this will let them create a newier version of there games,by adding the Blu-Ray Disc.
But ya i do understand what you are talking about, the cheaper the PS3 would be, the more people would but it for such a low price. But people might think they have nothing more to give and thats its the same thing over and over again.
So really either way has arguements if you know what i mean. But i agree with you about 10% more.
