never played the ps3, but the price is still a big let down
xbox360... ehmmm, dunno, played on it, good controller, but don't know many games on it that keep me occupied, lol
wii, got one myself, and loving it, got wii fit (not as many exercises as i hoped, but because it's a game it's a good way to keep people doing exercises, though you unlock most things quite easily...)
got mario galaxy, which is good fun
super smash bros brawl, been playing that a lot too 
and there are still some more games i wanna get/try, but no funds, lol

voted ps3 for the simple fact that i dont own a 360. I feel like the biggest draw to the 360 is live and i can respect that. ive just never been a subscription kind of guy.
that being said, the psn network has really come a long way. for instance the killzone 2 beta seemed flawless while playing online. developers are really getting a handle on the programming so the multiplatform titles that are coming out for both are pretty equal across the two systems.
not to mention i dont have to worry about getting red ringed 3 times a year. but i know that doesnt happen to everyone (just seems like everyone i know that has one ends up sending it back twice or more a year and thats just unforgivable on microsofts side).
the wii is a totally different monster. not to long ago someone from nintendo said they arent competing against the ps3 and 360, they are competing against anyone that doesnt play games. then someone from sony said, they didnt feel they were competing against nintendo either. i seriously couldnt agree more. nintendo, while they are gaining the casual audience, they are in the process lossing some of their loyal followers. i know thats the case with me. i havent sold my wii or anything but i play it rarely. putting out all these barbie cooking games or whatever, i mean... who is behind these ideas that put them on this track? and i cant even think of a game coming out later in the year for the wii that i would want. maybe i just dont do enough research lol.

Never played PS3 and I don't ever intend to.
360 does have an extremely wide range of games, not to mention the fact that most of the games on PS3 at the moment have also been released on 360.
Wii is just plain epic.

so far. the 360 is getting my vote.
2009 is looking to be the year of the PS3. just unfortunately for it the past 3 years have been the year of the 360 and the 360 has a much larger library of games that i actually want to play.

ppl need to stop these silly console wars anyway
each console brings a uniqueness to the table
the ps3 brings blu-ray and hi-end graphics capabilities
the wii brings a new way to play
the xbox 360 brings a near PC online experience
and all bring their respective exclusives
as rodney king once said "can't we all just get along?" XD

Could add Valkyria Chronicles to that list. Perhaps even the best PS3 exclusive of the year IMO just so original and a nice RPG before FF13 finally appears.
IMO though it doesen't matter which console is best I like them all. The PS3 hasn't been a disapointment for me and I like and own loads of the exclusives, MGS4, Resistance 1,2 Motorstorm 1,2, Valkyria Chronicles, Everybody's Golf, Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet and Clank, Folklore, Wipeout HD and LBP. Sony have done a very good job but thats just my opinion.
The 360 has Gears, Left 4 Dead, Mass Effect and quite a few RPG's I need to get at somepoint like Blue Dragon and Lost Oddysey.
The Wii has Wii Sports and Fit which are good but only for short bursts for me though. But the Wii Does have some proper exclusive games like No More Heroes, Madworld (I think its called) and will have Dragon Quest 10.
The PS3's the one I use the most but all 3 consoles are good and its good that there different as well. So my vote goes to all 3.

I'm having allot of fun with the PS3, and since I'm yet to try out both Wii and Xbox 360, I can't really judge which one is the best. It'll probably take a while before I get my hands on all three (if ever... never really used my old Xbox much XD) and before that happens, I cannot give a 'neutral' answer.

 I agree all the way Pury... Really, it's incredible how much cr*p people can say to each other because of games and consoles. A great shame.

i might be getting a PS3 with my tax rebate this year.
considering how i made a $1500 purchase of a laptop for my school and how i got taxed like crazy last year i should expect to get most what i was taxed back.
there are a few PS3 games on ebay that i could pick up that would be fun to mess around with. and i it would fulfill my promise to this site that i would buy a PS3 if they ever officially supported Folding@home (which they did)

actually they even updated the folding at home. now its... life with playstation and its a lot like the news/weather station on the wii, but while you have that on it will do the folding at home thing. you can also put it on a timer to turn the system off when its done with the current protien so if you are leaving somewhere you can just set it and go. its a win for everyone.
