10-2 was a big let down but i still like playing it  it was the first 1 i brought and didnt borrow so i love it for that... they changed yuna too much, and rikku got annoying sometimes (even tho she's my favorite female ff character), i like paine i think shes great i was a bit annoyed at first they added in someone new but as i played i thought she was awesome

Hmm... Which character in FFXII did I not use?
How does all of them sound?
Honestly, as a player of the game, I don't use ANY of the characters... The game does... I give the characters three simple gambits, I sit back, and I watch the movie; there are a few puzzles that interrupt this, but that's about all.
Don't mean to sound like a scrooge here, but this is my opinion of the game.

yea, if not for the gambit system, and the fact that playing without the gambit system is on the fence between hard/aggravating and damn near impossible, makes the game not fun either way...

I didnt think playing without the gambits was hard....of course I had the healing one on and the one that makes the other party members follow the leader but thats it XD

yeah i had under 20% healing on and that was fine for me
didnt need that most of the time cos i healed anyway
i keep hearing most people say its so hard
but have you all even tried without gambits?
i chose not to turn them on cos i thought it would be too easy

Yes, I've played for at least 5 hours straight without any gambits at all, and i have to say, trying to boss around all three characters in a real time fight is not simple... Especially when it comes to bosses...

This is true, i was like 12 hours into the game when i first tryed to do it without them, but still, telling everyone what to attack and telling them to attack again after each kill was annoying...
after a while i just set it up so that the other characters pretty much blindly attacked an all i did was stand back and heal =P

I hardly ever use Basch, Ashe or Penelo. I do use the gambits a fair bit (not maxed out though). I only interrupt when I need to use a different attack.

I use Ashe, Balthier and Basch. Sometimes I used Fran instead of Basch, though.

I used to use (whenever I had a PS2), the following: Vaan, Basch and Asche. I usually hate when you get to use a character, but like 30% after you're in game, when all your characters are level 30 for example, and you get that character level 15. Yay, level time.. AGAIN. >.> I hate it when the game does this crap.
I used Penelo the less, not because she's ugly and bla bla bla.. I just had to pick three, since I'm not into switching and crapping and all that stuff. Im into hardcore old school battles. Pick up the sword and kick some arse.
Wow.. can I actually believe this crap? I've been playing all along without gambits.. you *. XD
