I think Safer Sepiroth, i was surprised that he went down as fast as he did. I know that i had to work my a$$ off for KOTR but i killed him in one turn. Just used de-barrier, Knights then mine, and the final boss was down. It was supposed to be the best summon in the game but really is it supposed to be that easy?

hmm...all of them i believe ^^; FFVII is still by far the best ff game to me, but now that i know the concept of "level up" the bosses are piece of cake ^^;
eight years ago, when i first played the game, i couldn't even beat the guard scorpion XD now i beat him no problem...i need a remake so bad XD, i still love the game, but i want action!

if they did a remake, i hope they could add some options like in crisis core, to play it in normal or hard mode ^-^ or something to give gamers a hard time XD

I would've loved to see the WEAPONs tweaked a bit. Ruby and Emerald were fine in terms of difficulty and tricks but when it came to Ultima and even Diamond (I think that's the right one) I was disappointed. Also I was expecting more of a fight out of Palmer, considering how the Turks handle themselves.

I wish they wouldve made the Weapons more of a challenge.. Neutral I know this sounds unbelievable but Ruby just doesnt pose a threat anymore. I would like to have also seen a fight with Sephiroth, but as he is when he's on your team in the *. All mastered materia and tank stats, one on one with Cloud!

I think they already made the weapons "challenging", its just because of you freak gamers who spent inhuman time on the game made it simple. With lots of strategies and guides for the weapons, the supposingly hard boss became easy.

And like they always say, level up is the key to victory. Any boss would seem easy if you spent too much time levelling up (perhaps unintentially), and then in the end you would let go of the analog and say "Hey, why is this boss so freakin' easy?".

Happened to me in FFX, I was too into levelling up for the monster arena battles...characters hitting damage up to 30k, aeons to full damage..you'll definitely think the final boss suck.

But logically any rpg gamers would know that the final boss 'usually' tough, so its pretty natural for them to level up earlier (plus that awesome encounter rate, characters sure level up quick)...and maybe square did made a slight miscalculation on Sephiroth's battle capability..

Hidden: 
In my experience, I think even the final Sephiroth was hard for my 1st and 2nd time play. I ignored the weapons (thought they were too tough, didn't know anything so called 'Guides' back then) and went straight to Sephiroth without levelling up much.

actually the reason why some of the main bosses are relatively easy is because if boss fights were too tough, it might frusfrate the hell out of players. Not all playes are out there are enthusiasts like us therefore they cannot make it too hard. Usually those who wants extra challenge are always encouraged to go for those Side Bosses...they pose a great challenge. One good example was mentioned in Leon's post, the FFX arena is tough. Haha, wait until u face Penance

I don't think that the weapons were too easy, I think that they made too damn many ridiculously abusable materia setups... hell I beat em each in under 10 minutes with nothing more than a bunch of counterattack materia, a few x-potions, and hero drinks..(Proof) none of which are hard to find or get, the wizard bracelet is also far from a rare catch, and it has as many slots in it as all the best weapons, except without the no-growth... and the fact that it has poor defense really doesn't seem to make a difference against them. Ultima weapon is really the hardest to get item I used against them, and it was hella easy, even on my second playthough (which had poor characters compared to my first).

Anywho, I think my point here is:
Nerf KOTR + disable counterattack stacking + disable limit miming (cheap trick) = game fixt

Safer Sephiroth was very easy, I think they should of made him the difficulty of one of the Super Weapons (Ruby/Emerald) then he would deserve the title of End boss
