WHERE FFXIII CHARACTER'S NAMES POSSIBLY CAME FROM

I have attempted to find out where ffxiii character's names came from. This is for all the playable characters, will possibly add in non-playable characters later. This is what the name meanings seem to be based on.

LIGHTENING
Means, well, lightening, but the as for the character's real name; Claire Farron:
Claire was altered from Eclair, her first name in the original release, which means lightening in French.
This is more likely to be what if refers to than the pastry.
Farron means adventurous wanderer in Old English.

SNOW VILLIERS
Snow, another form of weather that a character is named after-
Although this also may be a made-up variant of snoo, meaning cunning, subtle, crafty, sly in Dutch.
Villiers means town dweller in French.

OERBA DIA VANILLE
The meaning of this name was hard to find.
Oerba may be a made-up faint of the Spanish word obra meaning work.
Dia means day in Portugese.
It is also the name of a spell from games 1 and 6 in the series.
The only meaning I could find for Vanille was that it means vanilla in French.

SAZH KASTROY
The only thing i could find for Sazh was that it may be a made-up variant of sash
Kastroy is probably taken from the Spanish word castro, meaning someone who lives near a fortress

HOPE ESTHEIM
Hope means expectation; belief in old English. it's a real name, but it's a girl's name!

Estheim appears to just refer to numbers in Hindi, couldn't find any other meanings

OERBA YUN FANG
Oebra, still have no more information
Yun means cloud in Chinese
Fang means fraguant in Chinese
