You got that one right ^^, singapore still makes both FFVII and FFVIII PC version. Have you checked E-Bay or something?
Or alternatively you can download from torrent, bit comet, etc.

yeah if u dont want to spend money...then download it...if u dont know how to dl with torrents...u can also download it with ARES!...or u can download a ps emulator..then u dl the game's ISO =D...

Your post somehow confuses me, but when I try to imagine you speaking it...actually it makes sense! LOL. Anyway, try www.mininova.com (u need torrent though). Just type the keyword and you'll get a bunch of download options from there.
