whats your ideal wedding?
so yeha im getting married in a couple of years and i was just wonder ing what type of wedding you guys would like to have if you plan on getting married .. if your not having a wedding its okay with me. i kinda want a small wedding nothing to crazy since im inviting a few ppl .. but thats what im thinking now.. maybe like a year from onw i might want a big wedding so most of my family can be there and my close freinds as well .. all i know right now is that its definately gonna be on the beach . thats what i always wanted to do for ever.. along with good violinist . i love violins so mch.. they make me so happy . i have no idea what kind of dress i might wear.. i was thinking about waering a dress in my fav color but.. since my fave color is black .. i dont want it to be a funeral instead of a wedding.. but i will talk to my fiance about it..im sure he will have some idea's or something.. we have been thinking about this everysince we got together

Broken hearted I stand in the rain. I think and find the pain. For you haunt me and I love it, though at the same time can't help but hate it.

Heart pained though unbroken. Hurt and lost though never forgotten.
So what if I'm a crazy overly power monster? You still love me! |

Hmmm well... yeah it will be a few years but Im getting married too! I am so happy and I can't wait! lets see... I was hopeing for maybe a late may early June wedding... I think it would be perfect in a heavy rain... maybe not a thunder storm but a steady kind of rain ^^ Im thinking a large stone church or something for the actuall ceremony and a warm cottage with a large fire for the reception... as far as colors... I though it was going to be black with mixed colors of blue or purple... but I think the one I love is changeing their mind... we will see... Like you said, I don't want it to be a funeral either... Im not to sure about specifics though we'll figure them out Im sure ^^

Lets go dark to see what we find, turn out the lights and start to loose our minds, so you can see its just a matter of time, untill they find you.
Lets go dark and rewind the night, to see what we loose when we close our eyes, the drum beats in time with their cries, it stops when they find you. |

just a couple things.... um... i really realllly wouldnt suggest getting married before you are like 21 at the least. clearly not my call but you can live together and dont have to get married. no rush. the only reason i say this is because my parents got married in a week. thats right. they met on a monday and got married the following monday. and they drive me crazy.
so leaving that aside, a beach sounds pretty great. id never want anything big and violins are awesome. really hard to play, but awesome. although my girlfriend sees marriage more as a business proposition that a bond through god, and it is true in a financial sense. we are both agnostic so i mean... we could get married but its not a big deal right now.
spaced out for a little bit.... i guess im done though.

the week time period was me explaining why i was concerned. i find it hard to believe that you can really know someone in 2 years time. it might not even be possible at all but ill leave that alone lol. that is my other concern for her getting married in a couple of years.

Well, I've got a friend whos parents got married after 3 days together..... And actually they seem to have a good relationship. But I wouldn't recommend it to anyone though.

yeah that kind of thing is like a coin toss... actually way worse bc your odds arent 50/50. you really gotta be luck... or just a really good sex life. but 3 days. wow. i find it funny what people would think of me if i did that. or if i got married in a week. my parents would try to talk me out of it even though they did it. sometimes i think of doing things like that just for kicks lol. silly kids these days lol.

what what what? I thought that was the one thing all girls had in common. i still remember my sister playing with her dolls, pretending they were getting married and such.
personally, i've been close to marriage once, and i really thought she was the one. but something in her changed. i broke it off after spending 3 days in the hospital with a broke leg without her checking in to see how i was doing, then i found out a bunch of stuff. .. . .but to make a long story short she developed a mental disorder, that eventually caused her to do things years later she would never otherwise do, like abandon her kid, told the cops he was kidnapped, only to recant her story and tell the truth, she's currently doing 30 years in state prison for attempted murder.(for the abandonment.) I seen the signs, knew she wasn't herself, yet was helpless.
i'd give anything to be able to go back to when it was all ok. to make things right. Perhaps one day i'll come across the right one, but for now its taking all i have just to stay sane sometimes. heh, i really hope there is a such thing as parallel universes, and i wish my other self all the best of luck.

To quote Stephen King (Dark Tower Series) "There are other worlds than these." Sorry, couldn't help it...I'm a book worm.
I was never one of those girls who thought about what her ideal wedding would be like. Hell, I swore I'd never get married or have kids, either.
Heh.....
Anyways, I think that if I had to do it all over again, I'd go for what I had originally wanted when I got married this time, five years ago: Sunset, on the beach, barefooted in a white summer dress, limited family and friends, preferably in the Bahamas. No food, no reception, no blah blah blah dancing.

heh, ya know it was that very series that kinda shaped my outlook on things, and the possibilities that might be.
(on an off note) After reading the dark tower series, sometimes going 3 or 4 years between books, the ending left me kinda sad, but deep down i knew it had to be the only way. ... ahh, all i can think of is poor Cuthbert, and Roland having to relive it all.

Holy Bajeebus - I don't think I've ever met someone else who has read the entire series. I just recently (i.e last night) finished it for the second time. And I think I cried harder over the last book (Jake, Eddie, Oy!) the second go around.
