Whats your favorite party?
I have been playing ff8 for awhile and the party I am in love with is Squall (well...kinda because I -have- to be him) Rinoa and Irvine/Selphie....the last character is always off and on depending on the area I am in.
I just wanted to know other parties to try them out and challenge myself..

My favorite party is Squall, Quistis and Zell (but this combination is strong too: Quistis, Squall, Irvine and Zell, Squall, Irvine)

See Quistis Zell and Squall didn't appeal to me as a party because its the basic startoff one..heh. But I like the idea of Quistis Squall and Irvine..
I am not really a Zell fan, never really used him once I got more of the members permanently

I seldom use Selphie and Quistis as I don't depend on magic or summons, so my fav party formation is either Squall+Rinoa+Irvine or Squall+Zell+Irvine.
But if you're using gameshark, you should try Squall, Seifer and Edea.

Not all the codes of course, there's some codes are merely for fun. Like the enemy controller for instead, don't you guys want to control Griever the legendary GF?
With Enemy controller you can lol, but those super codes like instant lvl 99...unlimited HP..and invincibles are nonsense for me ^^.

I really don't like codes either. Level 99 is easy enough to get and fun to get...invincible you can do with an item...and I never liked Seifer...

heh, well my main party is Squall, Zell and Irvine, but usually when i get the Ragnorak i go to the island closest to hell and put one of the girls into the party and use lionheart on somthing and level them up to 100, then put the next girl in until EVERYONE is lvl 100 xD then back to Squall, Zell and Irvine lol

I usually have a party of Squall, Quists and Zell as they seem to be the 3 strongest characters. Later in the game when you have to split the parties ill try to split them up to have 2 strongish parties. I did find Selphies heal all move with her limit break very useful on the final boss though so its probably not all about their strength.

I'm a fan of using Zell, Squall, and Rinoa. They just mix together so well.
In the end though, I beat the game with only Squall, and Zell. Everybody else died. Plus, zell only used a Mega Elixir every turn it was needed, otherwise I just had him cast Aura, or attack.
Hmmmm, wonder why I mentioned that.......
