Well; we can only hope that Square Enix would start paying more attention to the fact that its fans are drifting away and starting to lose interest in its video games instead of focusing on filling its already filled pockets.

I reckon its not that just that enix has lost intertest in developing the final fantasy series. Star Ocean till the end of time which was made by them is, i think, a very good game so i havent lost all confidence in enix just yet

I haven’t heard of this game.
But it would be so stupid of them to abandon or lose interest in developing a very famous and, may I say, legendary RPG series. And instead; focus on something else. I don’t think so at all. They are just focusing on improving the graphics because many of their fans nowadays pay attention to games which have beautiful graphics. This a clarifying for what I said earlier.

Well, in all honesty, with the dissapointment of Final Fantasy XII, I would vote for either Squaresoft to return, or for Final Fantasy to die. I can not stand to see a series I've admired so much slowly become something so ridiculously bad. It is much better for the series to die, than to become a bad series. The series has to stop someday, anyway.
As for Star Ocean, it is "fun". Definately not an RPG that you will have a lot of difficulty to overcome, and the Storyline is not -THAT- interesting, but it IS much more interesting than FFXII.

I agree. If there is no hope in reclaiming the good quality Final Fantasies then I also would vote for the end of the series with some dignity and good reputation left instead of watching it become worse as time goes by…
But;
If it’s true what you said in another post about a Japanese version of FFXII; an improved one, then it supports what I said previously; and they actually did not abandon or lose interest in Final Fantasy series.

I searched for a while about it.
Think it's called Zodiac Job System. I'll Edit if I find more information about it.
