There is really no such thing as an all-time favorite band or song. Our tastes vary a lot and we always end up moving on from one particular song. If you meant right now, then I wouldn't know either.
The band Walls of Jericho is very special to me, because I've taught myself how to roar with their songs, and their vocalist Candace Kucsulain, is definately my role model as a Frontlady.
As a Guitarist, I would have to say I admire the currents. Most Guitarists look up to names such as Slash, Hendrix, Jimmy Page, you name it... I tend to lean my influences towards Bryan Money, Synyster, Herman Li, you know, more moddern strings.
For a singer, I would definately have to say Candace Kucsulain for Roars. Even though she isn't the best screamer out there, I just can not get enough of how they sound, and how they ring.
Ronnie, former vocalist for Escape The Fate. For a young'un and oh-so many times called "over-emo", he is one heck of'a singer and screamer, and no one can deny it (except for the last concerts, his cleans had started to screw over because of the drugs)
Rody Walker, for those who know Protest The Hero. The band in and of itself has got to be the MOST complete band I've heard in a VERY long while, but Rody himself is a f*cking vocal God. Not only his cleans are wonderfully accurate, his roars are unique and have an awesome ring to it.
Last, but DEFINATELY not least, Freddy Mercury. There is no discussion or explanation there. We've all heard him, and I believe we all share the same apreciation.
