hm...i like it all ^-^ inside and outside midgar, and i was kinda shocked to see that there was more to it too XD like omfg! XD the first time i played (2000) i found it hard inside midgar XD leaving the city was a relief XD but it was exciting being inside ^-^

i understand where youre coming from but i only get that feeling cos ive played it so many times lol but midgar has the best section of the soundtrack so that helps me through it lol, come on who DOESNT like the bombing raid music? or the music for the wall mart?
plus in midgar cloud is more awesome (steering back towards topic) after you get out and cloud does his story about the past he starts the downward spiral into borderline emo-ish-ness

midgar is just fine ^-^ i also enjoyed it, not only because of the ST, but the things that happened there were like omg XD
and yes, cloud went all emo after he told everyone his story XD it was faster once aeris died but, still emo XD

Clouds mind is weak due to the mako poisoning in Crisis core isn't it?.
He is a awesome character and he makes a good main character. I think he would make a great friend because he accepts everyone into his group and is pretty cool. I think Zack is a stronger character overall though
