what or who inspires you?
What or who inspires you to be who you are.
was it something that happened in the past,
something you look forward to in the future,
was it something someone once said or did?
what makes you do the things you do,
I was once asked, what is happy? as i thought about it my mind kinda blanked. everything i thought that made me feel happy just vanished, and i was left stunned. Emotionally i shut everything out and kinda looked around and tried to explain to myself what exactly made me happy. was it my friends and the loyalty we shared, was it because i finally got to move away from a troubled past, then as my mind began to wonder i started thinking about what made me Mad. Still the same thing, blank.
Ya know how all parents tell their children that each person is special? while this may be true there are some that are truly extraordinary. people who would do anything they could to help. people who have the patience to listen, people who never talk down to you, honest and good. When i realized exactly what it was that made me happy a wave of calm came over me. if it wasn't for that person I'd never have turned out the way i am, i'd probably end up some meth addicted pot head. ya see, i seen goodness in someone and thought, wow, how can i be like that, feel like that. I can't explain it but from then on its like I was another person, like i had a purpose other than wasting braincells and time. sure bad things have came and went, but to be honest i think this ship would have crashed in those storms had it not been for the new strength i had.

I used to look to others around me for inspiration but they all let me down in the end....
So I don't really have much inspiration at the moment as far as looking onto the future or anything like that.....

my inspiration are probably my mistakes....im an ever analyzing person and one of my fav things to do is analyze myself...i like to think about what i did, how and why...why are things happening around me the way they are...if its my fault or not...and how can i change myself to make sure it wont happen again...but there are also some ppl that push me forward...

i don't realy have a rollmodel, nor something to live too, but as for reasons that changed me i got a few, my first one is my dad, after something he said when i was 8 years old i realy hate him, second would be a place where i lived, it was quite a violent neighberhood, and that's where i learned to fight back, and noone can take that away anymore...

I think a large part of who i am is thanks to the people i grew up with. My family drove me crazy, so i ended up secluding myself to the outside world besides the few friends i had. They raised me and taught me, i learned everything from them. And since they weren't in school, i didn't get distracted and ended up being a good learner as well. I owe everything to them, but i can't really say that to them anymore. In fact.... i think i'm going to go call kevin now. I guess i really never thought of it.

honestly, after read your post thor, i kinda had the same situation. a big blank. im not really inspired but i know that there are people i know that i would like to be a better person for them. if that makes any sense. kinda like, living up to what they perserve me to be. I know me pretty well id think lol but sometimes i get the feeling that others dont. so instead of sinking lower and lower and just kinda floating along i try and be what people expect me to be. Its pretty much only about 2 people. my girlfriend, and really good friend. the friend i have known for a long time, and we've both influenced each other in how we have turned out. he has trouble sometimes. not big into a social scene and i know he could be. hes a smart guy and i really wish i could compaire that way, but even so he looks up to me. i find that funny in a way bc i look up to him, even though we are similar ages. its odd how a person can effect your life just by living next to you. most friends from highschool or before you lose touch with but i dont think that will ever be the case with me. and my girlfriend, well. i try and be better for her. i know she can do better, and honestly, im really lucky to be with her, so i do my best to be what she deserves. i cant really think of a better reason to be the best you can be.

I don't have any heroes but I know some people who have bad illnesses which obviously cause physical pain, including my auntie who hasn't been able to walk properly by herself for a long time. So whenever I think I am in pain, I think of her and wonder how she can put up with it and makes me realise that I shouldn't be complaining.
I feel the same about life in general, my problems are so minuscule compared to some others in the world. That inspires me to not worry very often lol
I do have a motto though, which is 'don't get bitter, get better' I can't remember where I heard it but it's good advice. (emo's take note lol)

My kids are what inspires me nowadays. My home life growing up well....left much to be desired. I was mainly raised by my grandmother who, to me, was the bravest and strongest person that I've ever known. I work very hard to make sure both my kids has everything they need and the loving home that every child deserves. I was a wild one before I found out that I was pregnant with my daughter and once I knew, I dropped everything that would harm her - cigarettes, alcohol, recreational drugs, caffeine, etc. She gave me a reason to straighten out.
And that is great advice, Stappy

I was always abandoned and I still kinda am by those who say they care.....but in the end I will always care for others even if they run their back on me....because if I stopped caring then I'd be just as bad as them.....I think in the end for me I can only depend on myself, what I've done, my mistakes and what people have done to me to keep me going and living the way I am now....
