Why 6 Embroidered Tippets? you only need 3 ever as you can only have 3 active players in your party (only the 3 active ones get the exp's not the reserves) so its a waste to have 6.
Put the reserve 3 on golden amulets to double thier LP's.

In my NLB game, I entered the palace at level 47.
I'm not sure I use the same method as rikku, but after I got Panelo and then she left the party, I spent all the gil I had on phoenix downs. Then I went to the Dalmascan Westersand, reduced my HP to less than 10% and then headed a screen north. You can get the rare game Dustia here. Just throw a phoenix down on it for over 1000 exp. Just make sure you zone out before you see the exp earned so you can chain it. The drops will ensure you keep making a profit (the common drop sells for 500 something while the rarer drops sell for over 1000).

Levelled up on Werewolves in Giza Plains. 3 Red Spirals with Inferno finisher is enough to kill one and net you about 1200xp. Save point is one screen away so zone, heal, rinse and repeat. Duno why i started a new game, suppose i just wanted to really..
Seeing what stuff i can get early. Not got a Kotesu katana drop from the werewolves yet, hoping i can get my hands on the Gladius, Burning Bow and the Fransisca before Bhujerba.
Will use Dustia method before i do though, get me some nice levels and LP

Have Gambits set for Foe: Undead -> Sleepga, Foe:Status=Sleep -> Curaja. Then there's a room in the secret area of Hennes Mines where if you hit the switch, about 20 abysteels will drop (10 initially then another 10 about a minute later). These will be killed automatically, go 2 screens away and back in, you can kill a lot of abysteels in an hour and they give over 3000 exp per character each (without embroidered tippets)

Interesting 
I should try that, but I don't have Sleepga or sleep or Curaja JK I have Curaja but I don't have the others 
These stuff usually miss so I don't use them, but I will try doing that because leveling up is a big problem for me... I wonder how I beat the game
