lol..in seriuosness though, i think its just seeing something thats different that makes it interesting for the opposite gender...which is why yaoi would be intersting for females (and some men); doesnt have to be a explicit sexual thing, might just have that certain fantasy element that readers of it are looking for.

exactly what i think, i havent actually read any of the yaoi mangas (tho iv seen my fair share of hard filth derived from them  ) but they seem to be just like other love stories but with a different perspective ; which is one of the joys of anime and manga..so many genres and freedom in creation.

well tifa, they are both right, yaoi doesn't imply people of the same gender having sex, that'd be LEMON...or at least i think it is when writing
aaand i don't agree either on your thinking the human body is nasty or not pretty....*shrug* just think about this: when people make love, do you think they are actually looking at each other's body? and artists, what do you think about artists who draw either naked men or women, does their work look nasty at all? *shrug* there are some pretty good master pieces with naked bodies and i think they are very good...for example...what was its name?  well, ancient Greek and Roman art XD
