It is true, however that severe emotional things can cause sexual preferences to change, but most of the time they are either learned from a young age (between 1-6 years of age) or they are genetic (The studies aren't conclusive. It is known that the personality is formed by age 6 by learning from the environment, but is sexual preference a part of that? We don't truly know, but it is proven that there are genes that can make someone have homosexual or bisexual tendencies from birth. The kicker is, tendencies are not equal to absolutes. Some people who, genetically should be heterosexual, are homosexual or bi, whereas some who, genetically should be homosexual or bi, are heterosexual.) Therefore, sexual attraction is very complex.

EXACTLY! Thank you very much for clearing that up!
There are very few "absolutes" in the world. In fact, 99.9% of all rules have some sort of exception or loop-hole.
Anyways, I think this topic is officially dead.. Which sucks cause on other sites it has gotten much farther. =/ Ah well..
Thank you all for your opinions and thoughts on this topic. It has actually helped. ^.^
If anybody new is reading this, I'll be monitoring it for any newcomers who have their own opinion, thought, or anything to say relating to the topic.

I just read the title of the Thread and I felt like I should comment - I HATE LOVE =D IT SUCKS. I've had HORRIBLE luck for 18 frikkin' years and It's showing NO signs of getting better. UGH. (Done venting)

Lol, that wasn't much venting if you asked me. I do understand what ya mean. Love seems like an impossible quest at times, but there IS an end. Just hopefuly you can endure it long enough to find it.
