what games to get (ps3)
Hey, so it's my birthday today and I'm debating what game(s) to get. Here's my list so far:
Final Fantasy XIII

Need for Speed: hot Pursuit is a very fun ardcade racer!
I really want to get Resonance of Fate
Dragon Age is hit or miss.
I say go for NFS:HP or Resonance of Fate1

all of the following are great games that require you to be into the kind of game stated. also, not all are exclusives.
-metal gear solid 4 (Great if you are into the series)
-red dead redemption (Solid game and rockstars finiest story telling ever. game has my favorite ending to a game in the past like 10 years. so good)
-battlefield bad company 2 (Best shooter online multiplayer hands down)
-heavy rain (Everyone should at least rent this game)
-dead space 1 and 2 (2 should be purchased on ps3 as you can get extra content, dead space extraction)
-mirrors edge
-killzone 2,3
-UFC 2010 undisputed (this is my only fighting game and i love it)
-assassins creed games
-borderlands (good shooter/rpg mix with drop in/out co-op)

Well try Mass effect 2 it's from the same people who made Dragon Age and it's a third person shooter and rpg mix with a good story.

soul calibur is THE best fighting game in my oppinion
and they normally have something more than a "fighting game" to them to liven it up and malkke it more unique and less repetative, i remember one of them you could create your own character and do a campaighn mode that was pretty decent
i would be getting the ps3 one if i had a ps3 >.<

That's soul calibur 3 Arc and is probably my favourite one XD
Although soul blade (the first one in the series on the ps1) is also a favourite of mine

I have to disagree with the notion that Soul Calibur is the best fighting game, but whatever.
If fighting games are hit or miss with you, then I'm not sure what to recommend that hasn't been already. XD
