I am a PS3 person I have all 3 and i would say PS3 it comes with everything you need you can us it for online play right away and don't have to pay for it it has a blue-ray player inside free updates and I find it is alot easier finding demos online for the PS then the x-box. that and the cost for the PS3 has dropped in price so its at about pair with the 360

this notion of "hardcore vs. casual" didn't come up until the wii was shown at e3 2006
gaming used to be about gaming, not tech
graphic wh0res, i dispise |
i didnt mention anything about graphics. sure that might be a selling point, but when i said hardcore, i was more so refering to the online experience, which the wii isnt all that concerned about. yes they have a interface and can use online features, but the online games ive played on the wii dont really stack up. to even the psn which is free as well.
and yes the hardcore vs casual did show up when the wii came to light because thats what they were going for. their own words and mission statement. they wanted to broaden their users instead of limiting them.

The gamecube controller ports are hidden at the top of the wii covered up. The actual case of the console opens to get to them.
Don't think ive posted in this thread yet but my console of choice would be the PS3. Ive got all 3, well say got all 3 I have the PS3, my brother has the 360 and my sister has the Wii. I like them all but from what ive played of the Wii the games like Wii Sports and Fit are good but get very repetitive too quickly, the PS3 and 360 both have what I call proper games but in my case I just prefer the PS3's exclusives which is why I chose it as a console and my brother later got the 360.
edit- ive just realised this threads 5 months old so the op has probably got a console by now. Everyones just bickering about which consoles best for no reason lol.

oh well...if something worthwhile is being said or debated then there is nothing wrong with little revival, i imagine a new thread soon will pick the topic right back up lol.
quite refreshing to see a multi console game thread be rather reasonable and balanced rather than turn into a war.

a fanboy-athon as i call it.
I think the reason for the rational discussion is because all the consoles have been out for some time and developers are really starting to get into now. far better than guessing how a system will perform before it comes out lol.
