| What console should I get right now?

What console should I get right now?
Ok...I'm at a loss here. I've been planning to get a new console and I don't know which one to get. I've been getting my gaming fixes from my friends'. And their consoles are all varied. Some have Wiis, PS3s, and some have Xbox 360s. I'm not really sure which one to get right now. I'm asking for some advice. I'm open to all types of games, and I'm not biased towards any company. (Maybe Nintendo...hehe, gotta love Ninty.) 
Anyway, help guys.  If I could I would get all 3 but since the Wii is really hard to find and the PS3 is hella expensive....maybe I should get the 360? What do you guys think?

i think it depends on which system youd get the most from
one that has the games you love.....(gotta love nintendo)
or what style of play you want theres a difference between wii and ps
graffix?..if theres much of a diffrence
its preference you gotta have preference ....if not.......steal all of them ?^^
or if you cant find a wii and cant afford a ps then x-box does seem the way to go XD
always get the other ones next christmas *clasps hands evily* bwahahahaha
i will have them allllll
...so far i have none^^... going of track ? ok im done...

lol, Actually, I like all types of gameplay but I'd rather not play racing games.  (Except for Mario Kart.)

best way to determine this then is to just list off the games you would buy for each console.
then compare it by the games and feature that you would use if you got that console.

I went for the wii. I mean, there isnt much difference between the Xbox and the XBox 360, same with PS3! But the wii has motion control... And that will upgrade, believe me!

the cosole doesnt matter. its all about the games. sadly... this isnt a solid decision maker either considering a lot of games are on at least two fo the platforms.

it almost seems like this to me.
for the here and now...xbox is the option, best proper games and proper gameplay right now it feels...if your into your online play and want to get the most of something right now...get the 360.
for longevity and something that will continue to grow...ps3 is the option...if you are wiling to give over a little time to let it flourish and grow into a possible slice of gaming heaven which will in future give amazing graphics and depth...then the ps3 is the option
if you just arent big on taking time and effort with games, sitting down like usual and playing games how they originally were designed to be played...wii is the option...if you want to quickly pick up and play some fun easy to use games which the whole family can join in but dont want the hastle of games with too much depth or detail....then the wii is the best option.

though i just like the old style of playing games...not a fan of what the wii has to offer...each to their own i guess of course.

i think what zsasz meant before was the wii console is for casual gamers, not hardcore gamers.
when i think hardcore i think people getting really into something and playing online and being competitive. casual is more like, oh man, mario galaxy came out im gonna get it and enjoy it and it pretty much ends there. also the price point for the wii suggests its a casual gaming system. this i think was nintendos plan to try and get new gamers like whole families into stuff. sure there are games that are deep on the wii, but once again, thats game specific. as a system, the wii is a casual fun system to use, where as the 360 and ps3 are really looking for the hardcore gamers.
infact, ps3 is pretty much depending on their hardcore fanbase to keep them going.
anyway. id suggest getting the wii now bc its enjoyable. there arent different models (lol) and some great games are avalible right now.
then down the road, when the ps3 is more stable and the online works better, you can get that, bc really, its more of a home entertainment system at this point. (which is arguably cool)
