What are your best gaming memories?
I'm pretty sure that we haven't asked this but I was thinking about mine and so now I want to know yours XD
For me almost all of my best experiences were with other people.
- Playing this NES Volleyball game with my cousin as kids. We just worked so hard to win, and were standing up with nervousness at the end.
- Playing Wrosm armageddon for the first time at a sleepover (I was still about 14 or so) and we didn't sleep. I think this game also made a lot of nights fun with friends, especially when we got to the point of using girders to block people in or get to the highest point on the map with rising water.
- Maybe finishing Mass Effect 1 as well. This was a solo game but the musical score was so good that it really made you feel the moment more, and that when you could finally confront the enemy in a proper fight. But leading up to it, like I remember urging myself on to hurry up so I could finally get there. The best part was, because of the way I had played the game, I was able to defeat him...With words! I'd like to see that in any other game. As with most great games, they're not over until it's over...And it wasn't over. There was one final boss, I guess you could call it a boss, it was just a normal enemy but with very high speed and very high defence. And this is what made it good. I can't stand bosses that require you to do certain things. Since my panic level was quite high at this stage I pretty much got my characters to use as many abilities as possible as quickly as possible to beat this thing. And then it was over..
- Probably playing through FFX as well, not necessarily finishing it, but just going through all the twists and talking about it with friends at school. Also I remember waiting for the ending credits in case something else happened, those credits were so long...
And now as an added bonus, maybe your most disappointing gaming moments?
- Playing through the entire tournament mode of NES World Cup (awesome game for us people who hate soccer, because your tackles are just that and can injure players legally). I think if I remember there are 14 games to win to be the champions, with the opponents progressively getting faster and smarter. In the 2nd to last game you play argentina who are ridiculously fast. I lost to them badly the first time and a few more times after that but I finally beat them eventially. Then I get into the final against West Germany (lol) and they are easier than Argentina, either I was really good, or they were really bad.
- Starting FFX-2.
- When I realised I had no idea what was going on in FFXII. I was more disappointede in myself than the game, since I really liked the games battle mode, but I had no idea where I was going. And haven't played it since.
- Playing Xenosaga 2: I have noooo idea what's going on in this game. As much as I tried to like it I couldn't.

Best Memories:
- Beating Super Metroid. I was like maybe 11 or so and after all the hours putting into the game, there you are, facing off against Mother Brain. Everything you've sweat and sweared and possibly shed a frustrated tear for, Mother Brain kicks your ass... Only to have the baby Metroid you saved come to your rescue. And while the Metroid is nursing you back to health, Mother Brain kills it. You go all crazy on M.B. and kill it and then a destruction timer starts and you have to escape. Your heart is beating crazy fast and finally make it to your ship and blast off.
- Beating Lavos in Chrono Trigger.
- Finishing FFX. Such a good storyline. Such a melancholy ending. Great game.
- Beating FFVII on a black and white T.V. and successfully breeding both a mountain chocobo and river chocobo.
- Beating Contra 3 by myself. Possibly the hardest game in existence for the SNES!
Biggest Disappointments:
- Playing Chrono Crusade
- Trying to beat Shinobi on PS2. This is is intentionally hard and it doesn't let up. Your sword kills you unless you kill enemies with "style" to feed the sword.
- Buying Batman & Robin for the SNES.... It sucked so bad.

Got to agree on this one. Co-op gameplay is the best kind.

These were also terrible moments for me. With the exception that I wasn't too keen on XII's battle system, I mean it wasn't terrible, just didn't stand out to me like other FFs did.

LOL! That game is insane. >.> I gave up tbqh.
Anyways, my best moments...
- Beating Ultimecia for the first time. I was extremely reckless and ran straight to her with only like 3 of the bosses beaten. It took me 4 days of trying, and a whopping 16 hours of straight fighting the battle that won, and of course taking a HUGE gamble near the end, which fortunately paid off.
- My first playthrough of Resident Evil 5. Despite the drawbacks that the game had, it was and still is an incredible co-op experience imho. I did the entire playthough in local co-op with a good friend, and as soon as the stun rods became purchasable, we bought one for each of us, and spent most of the game taking risky moves to move in on a foe, flank them, and beat them to death. An intense experience no doubt with those damn one-shot insect things.
- My first playthrough of Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time. This game was amazing, best R&C game to date imho. There were a few frustrating points, but not compared to the previous one (Tools of Destruction), and overall it was great fun.
- Tales of Vesperia. Every boss fight in that game is a blast in co-op. Not just my first, but every playthrough of that game is great fun. Two to four player co-op at its best.
- Fallout 3. I never actually got around to completing it, but it was everything I expected out of it and more. Admittedly New Vegas was a bit of a letdown by comparison, but Fallout 3 probably stands as my favorite FPS to date.
- Final Fantasy IX. I don't express this frequently, but FFIX was incredible. The story was captivating enough, and the Co-op gameplay could have stood on its own. Great fun every time.
There are probably more, I might end up editing this list later... This is just all I could think of atm.

Ah Contra, yes a friend and I tried to finish those games. He says he did a while ago, I never did. Well done Mabus.
And that chocobo thing is quite amazing on a black and white tv lol
And yes, FFX-2. I remember I finhished FFX, and immediately went to the shop the next morning to get FFX-2. Then ... "What can I do for you..." My heart sank..
I've been told fallout 3 is good, I'll have to play it one day.

You need to play Fallout 3 now. And FF X-2..we do not speak of. XD j/k j/k.
hmm..Memories....
I would have to say..
1. Beating Kingdom Hearts- This took me MONTHS. I was way younger at the time, and I took a break because I was stuck...Finally defeating Ansem was such a proud moment or me! It was on the 4th of july too! XD
2. Beating FFX- Like its been said, great story and the ending was amazing, even if it were sad.
3- Something involving Metal Gear- idk what it is....But, This game has to be somewhere at some point, for some reason on this list. XD
4. I guess beating Ninja Gaiden: Black.- What a ****!
hmm Dissapointing...
That is kind of hard....I really dont know. Pretty much any game I love and beat I am disappointing because the adventure ends! D= XD
Examples being FFX, KH, KH2...etc,
