....what are the similarities?
you know, i've played both ff7 and crisis core...and supposedly cloud took zack's personality or something like that right? but...i don't see many similarities between them other than the spiky hair, do you? zack was a real ladies' man and cloud just isn't that into ppl...so what are the similarities between those two? at least before cloud realises what happened to him

to be honest i see no similarities between the two other than the hair style. While Zacks more of an outgoing, fun loving, kind of guy, Clouds always been kinda reserved, as if shying away from his "Hero" status. The one thing i do notice, both seemed willing to help those in dire need of assistance. especially the less fortunate. I believe thats just one of the traits a hero personifies tho, and has nothing to do with either person taking on qualities of the other.

but aeris actually says she sees zack in cloud...as you said just the hairstyle...but helping others? cloud doesn't like that XD well at least at the beginning of FF7 no, remember how he said the planet's destiny was barret's and his buddies deal? it wasn't until Tifa begged him to stay that he accepted to help them, and only if he was paid XD
i believe there have to be similarities, since cloud kinda took over zack's life when he passed away...other than the "you look like a bear wearing a marshmallow", there's nothing cloud says that zack would've said, is there?...maybe "i'm not interested"....

to be honest i don't remember much from FF7, its been ages since i've had the chance to play it. One thing both had was a certain kind of chemestry that made people like them, that made people want to help them, or it might just be the dire situation that they were all thrown into.

I don't think Cloud took Zack's personality, but rather, he took Zack's "story." And I think that's what Aeris noticed in his stories. And the Mako eyes, and maybe the hair too
