lol well, it costs alot to run a server for a long time especially with alot of people, even if they sold the game for a lot of people they still don't have enough to run the server and so someone has to pay. lol

id like to make a point ffxi OWNS ALL you understand that how can people that have never played a game say it sucks? am i the only person that thinks that is stupid? play the game and youll understand how great it is fighting with your friends MMORPG's rule
Ammendment: the reason you pay is for the time of all the staff working constantly updating the game, making it better and more fun theres always something new to do you can never complete it, i think that is worth the pittance i pay for it

i agree with that cause sq enix updates the game almost 2 times a month and also they have to do a lot of other things that cost money so acutally just think of it as your money goes into making you happy lol and keepign you from being bored.

lol actually we all know about the paying reason and thing and we already settled on the fact of how much it cost to run a server and everything lol but even if it was worth paying for, most people couldn't afford to buy the game which is around $100 or so for the ps2 one and then having to pay a monthly fee of almost $20 (for Canada) lol since most of us don't have jobs. So basically we weren't talking about the game itself that sucks when we haven't played it yet (this excludes Fuey since he saw his friends playing it) lol titles in forums can be deceiving lol

I'm hearing that it's hard to get a party in this mmorpg. Not a good thing when you're playing mmorpgs and paying for it.

it's not that hard at all. just depends if you have some free time on your hands. Also some jobs on the game have more uses then others. I only wait about 1 hour tops. then i get a party.
