I was wondering how people feel about legalizing weed. i personally do it i have not in a few month but i do it from time to time and everyone i know has or still does it. and personally i find beer is more dangerous then weed you can't OD people don't get in to high speed races or go home and beat there wife. they just sit around and eat alot so i think they should legalize it. what do you think?

Its tru that not a whole lot of terrible things happen when people do weed, and i generally se it as a harmless thing, but of course people do stupid things regardless and having alcohol legal and weed, well people will do stupid things more when they are smoking. its just a statistical fact.
that aside, i have done it but it didnt do anything for me. Id rather sit back, drink some good wiskey and smoke a cigar.
But to each his own right.

I guess it wouldnt really matter if they legalized it (besides that it would take a long time to do so and even then it might be on a state by state basis. After that, old people would be high all the time, and i would probably like most of them more but thats neither here nor there i guess lol.
oh, and it would be taxed by the govt as well if it were legal... on the other hand you would be sure what it is you are smoking, which isnt always the case now days.

i live in canada so it would not take as long as in the stats and some parts of the stats has it legal if you have a docs note not true here

I personally have tried once, it had no effect but i would try it again, i think!
The thing with it is people say its a gateway drug and thats why its banned, lies, it mellows the namtion and "The Man" wants rid of it!
If you smoke pure grass, you can not get addicted... its impossible, but when you have it with tobacco, your brain tells you its weed and you think you are!
As for alcohol, dont get me started there, Its more lethal than half the illegal drugs out there, but it is so taxing, and screws up the brain so bad, the government wont illegalise it, because that is whats causeing thm to stay ahead!
I personally am a bit of a conspiracy nut so i say these things!
Also, if weed does give you mental problems... good, at least when im so old i cant brush my own teeth, ill still be mental!

never tried it, seen people doing it, my parents tried it a few times, and to be honest, drunk people are more annoying as people that smoked a joint...
and holland has legalized it, and i've seen more people use weed in portugal (where it is still illigal) as i have in holland
and statistics say holland has a lower percentage of drug addicts as most other countries...
and as seifer said. legalized weed will make sure what you get is good stuff instead of junk...
so, even though i never did, and have no plans of doing weed, i still think it's not a bad thing to legalize...
lol gotta say i tried weed...couple times...once when i was drunk and it actually made me sober...i was really glad cause it actually made me feel better...the other times i tried it it didnt do much really...i just had cravings and when i came home i raided the fridge XD i kinda think its a waste of money but wouldnt mind if it was legalized...why not

will for thows who have tried it and didn't feel anything then you problem didn't smoke enough or had cheap stuff i know for me i did it 6 different time before i felt anything and the 6th time i did a lot and it was some GOOD stuff. any ways i know one of the reasons why it’s not legal here is b/c there is no test for it like with beer u can't do a breathalyzer test for it and it stays in your system for 3 months so they can't take a blood sample to see if you’re high. but i still think it should be legalized just for the amount of money they could make off of it.

never done it, don't want to ^^; i'm not into that kind of things...i don't even smoke regular smokes or drink that often...i think legalizing it would stop drug dealers from being millionaires and it'd also stop people from being overly curious about it....
and to be honest...well...as my mom says, any excess is bad, if you have more medicine than you should you become addicted too, i mean, everything we eat or drink can be highly addictive if we don't know how to control it....
besides...well, in school they tell you that if you smoke weed, it somehow affects the genes of your grandchildren...don't know if that's true though, but i've seen many brilliant people go insane because of drugs...one of them was this poor guy, he used to live outside a bread store, he passed away a few months ago, he used to be the best student of the highschool i studied at (he was way older than me but still) and a class mate of my dad, when he was studying university, and he was also best in his class...we see him often around the city square and he has this lost look in his eyes...and both of these people did weed....
i don't mean to offend you in any way, but i'd highly recommend you to leave it for your own well being, i don't wanna see someone like these two guys again, it's....sad....
if you think you can control it, go on, but please, take care of yourselves guys U.U i honestly care, even if we are not the best friends over the planet, i woulnd't like to know you had health problems because of it....

I personally don't see the big deal. I've done it like 3 times and it didn't really do much for me but hey, if yo like it I don't see what the problem is. And as for it being a "gateway drug", if people don't have the willpower not to do class A drugs, then I doubt weed will affect it.
People are making a lot of money selling this illegal drug, so if it was legal then there would be less drug dealers, less people in jail, etc. I have never smoked weed, nor cigars, nor anything. Not even pure grass. I do think though, like most people have already said, that weed is less dangerous than drinking, and that it doesn't really affect you much. I think there should be other things illegalized rather than weed.
maybe we say that cos we haven't studied it deep enough? i think a doctor would have a different opinion....maybe that's why we're not completely sure if all those things they say about it affecting your mind and stuff are true....anyway, like i said, if you abuse something, anything, it's bad for your body, so i guess that if you know how to control it and if you have the willpower to say IT'S OVER then it's up to you to decide....though i'd never do it U.U i don't even like cigars anyway

But the addiction isn't the problem, because we're legalizing Tobacco and Cigars. It was carefully researched to ensure the right to illegize it. But .. I don't understand why Weed is illegalized when so many other things that are legal are actually worse. Meh, our government doesn't listen very much, but I guess it doesn't greatly affect much.
people only do it for the thrill of doing something illegal.
they know the risks, but they do it anyways.
they do it for the high they get off the drug and the high they get off the risk.
