Weapon Change!
A thing I really love about FFXII is the possibility you have, to change the weapons for the characters in your party.
So everybody! What weapon (types) do you or did you prefer for the different characters in the party?
The biggest changes I've made for the characters weapons until now is;
Balthier - Sword (and Shield)
Penelo - Poles
Basch - Axe (and Shield)

Yea I agree with you there, we can use different weapons for them and that's a good thing.
Balthier- Gun or Axe
Fran- Bow
Ashe- Crossbows
Basch- Poles
Penelo- Rod or Maces
Vaan- Dagger or sword
But of course sometimes it changes like when I get a sword with the highest atk power between my weapons I give it to Balthier lol

I basically just left everyone as they were pretty much.
Vaan-sword
Fran-bow
Balthier-gun
Basch-Axe
Penelo-dagger
Ashe-sword also...think I might change her to pole or something though.
*shrugs* they seem to work fine that way so I just pretty much left everyone alone XD

I don't think gun is fit for Balthier, since strength isn't part of damage calculations they're for weak chars. He needs a sword or something

balthier gun..(he wouldnt look as kool without it lol)

penelo .. i changed to rods and staffs/staves ?
but i never even used ashe yet lol

yea, that's what I think too, Balthier is cooler when he has a gun lol but now the only gun I have is with 17atk 4d so I have to use an axe with 47atk and 15d

i used dagger at the beggining of the game since you could get +45 attack and wind element and that's the only time i actually used it...
i dont like axes either....but it looks cool on ashe...
