We need a hug button
A really cool idea just occured to me. People give out hugs quite a lot on this forum, waht if we had a hug button next to each post so members can give hugs to people who make cool/interesting posts and then there will be a number somewhere that says how many hugs you've had...

Like i say there would be a number somewhere on your profile and possibly near the karma number on each post, or maybe it could add to karma but there would be a number in brackets next to karma saying how much of it was from hugs...an emoticon would be good too

How about just to make things interesting, one could only give a limited amount of hugs a day XD
That way people wouldn't be clicking it over and over (no offense Rikki XD) and one person wouldn't have half a million hugs, while I have only a couple ten.

I don't think it adding to karma would be a good idea as karma is kinnda a measure of how active you are XD

I support it, you can give out a number of hugs per day = to 1 plus the number of stars you have
The hug calculator would be right next to or below karma, like mine would read
Karma: 323 Hugs: 2
or
Karma: 323
Hugs: 2
And you should get a PM when you receive a hug allowing you to accept or decline it. When you click on the 'Hugs:' link it shows a list of all the people that have hugged you and how many times.
In addition you could have "Top Hugger of the Month" under "Top Poster of the Month"
