I don't think Squall could be part of a proper couple. He's too ignorant and selfish.
Also he doesn't seem like the sort who could have a relationship.

I hafta disagree abit there about Squall being ignorant and Selfish, I don't believe a group of trained mercenaries and an-experienced headmaster would want to choose a 'selfish' and 'ignorant' leader...don't they?
Its because they saw the quality inside him and they place their trust from what they seen - Squall is a good leader and a leader could only be successful if he looks up for his comrades and be caring for them. Whats a leader without his comrades? He don't stand a chance right? Why do they choose a 'loner' to be their leader? Have you all thought this?
Remember when Galbadia attack Balamb garden on Disc 2? Squall inspired everyone based on what he has in mind NOT due to Doc Kadowaki. Doc Kadowaki didn't told him what to say, the words are purely from his heart.
There's many rumours saying Squall and Rinoa won't stand a chance, and I'm gonna disagree again for many reasons:
-Squall is changing, Rinoa changed his view on 'self-reliant'.
-Squall's beginning to understand the meaning of living for others or more likely for the ones he loved (Ellone,Rinoa,his friends and Balamb Garden).
-I've seen alot of people like Squall real life and they turn out having outstanding relationship and living happily with their loved ones now.

Nope, I don't remember "when Galbadia attack Balamb garden on Disc 2". Too be honest, I think Squall is only cool because of the scar he got fighting Seifer and because he has cool clothes. Apart from those, I hate Squall.

Well, apparently everybody has their own opinion about a character. Thats what makes the game a game lol, meaning there must be flaws and virtues and opinions cuz we're the gamers.
