I remembered the same topic posted in 'Final Fantasies' and the result sided with Cloud. Fantasies always win - cuz they're unreal and looks cooler. In the field of gaming, special effects and godlike features always attract gamers all over the world...ok tell me who likes 'Real Life' type games where your characters died in just one slash?
In my opinion, FF7 and FF8 is a different world. Exchanging characters to either side would result in a total disaster and imbalance (law of FF nature lol!). Squall versus Cloud thing is something imaginary (we can only predict and assume - there's no exact result as SquareEnix haven't made anything related to it). And we can't place FACTs as something to support whose the winner either...all depends on OPINIONS and points of views. We can only say something like 'I think Cloud is stronger - he can slash anything that gets in his way' or 'Squall is better - he has GFs to aid him'.

well in the poll about cloud vs squall in a fist fight i went with cloud cause him being a clone and all of sephy, but if this is a free for all then im goin with squall hands down. my reasoning is simple as good as clouds buster sword is squalls gunblade would own it without doubt also squall get's extra abilities from his gf's and then he has a trick up his sleeve, his aura magic ability that put's him in a instant limit break situation. that magic and leonheart limit break gives him everything he needs to wipe out cloud.

The Lunar Harp is located near the entrance to the Ancient Forest, place a few workers around there to get the exact location of the lunar harp. Actually 2 workers are enough to estimate the point.

Ah, yes! I know how you felt (happened to me once lol). Just walk nearby the ladder and press O, the cuztomize controls might affect this - so change them to default.
You can climb the ladder, just keep on dashing/pressing O near the ladder and you'll climb it.

Squall is much more powerful than Cloud. As Lionheart is much stronger than Omnislash. People like Cloud because they like Sephiroth. I too like Sephiroth(who doesn't) but that's no reason to like Cloud. Also Cloud is much more open unlike Squall who is a loner but has a powerful personality.
As for those who say that FF7 had tougher baddies I say then why did Square introduce a powerful Lionheart limit break and the game still possesses a decent difficulty level.

First Turn:
Tidus trips and falls down, Zidane wily as he is cuts him off. Poor Zidane though doesn't know two gravity defying haired warriors(Cloud and Squall) were going to attack him with Omnislash and Lionheart.
Zidane bit the dust... and then two experienced warriors were left. A guy whose sword was twice his body size and another guy who cannot wear his jacket properly. My two fav FF characters, stared at each other..... TO BE CONTINUED! |
