I loved VII, VIII, IX, and X, but I'm still partical to VIII. I just thought VIII wa better. I like VII a lot, don't get me wrong, I just like VIII better.

i agree VII is by far the greater game for me but what you said is not true about FF X, there are LOADS of extremely hard bosses before you fight sin, there are quite a few dark aeons which are hard, nemesis and penance are the other 2 rock hard bosses you can fight and believe me i would rather fight emerald/ruby weapon ahead of any of X's secret bosses. although thinking about it now i thought i heard something about only the european release of the game having the dark aeosn or something? not certain about that. but anyway VIII also has secret bosses, ultima weapon and omega weapon i think and they're no walk-over either. so yeah VII is not the only game with secret bosses, although like i said it is still my fave by far

VII is tied with X.
The battle system was crap because you never knew when the enemy was going to attack. In X you could tell the order of every one's turn by the ATB bar in the upper right hand corner.
The character's behavior and what they were like varied. Cloud was childish because he pouts about alot of things. Barret was angry all the time so it made you think that he was blaming the world about his arm when shinra did it. Aries was the peace maker though she was always ccalm even during intense things.
One of the few high points was the story. A mercinary teams up with an anarchy rebelion to face an ex souldier with a bar owner, a flower girl who is the last survivour of her race, a talking cat on a stuffed animal, another last survivour of his own race of dog like animals, a thief who is ubsesed with miteria, loud mouth pilot who smokes alot, and an excperement who can transform into different fiends. The over al story is great. They baisicly are after an upper ex soulder who was created and is going to destroy the world with the most dark meteria, meteor.
That was baisicly a review but oh well.

It's a hard choice between IX and VII. FF X is way down at the bottom slightly higher than FF XII (which is a lot higher than FF XI but is still 2nd worst FF game I've played).

I have played FF7 and FF8. i played FF7 till the end but just got bored too much in FF8. i stopped playing ff8 just before i got in to space. It went just so killer boring! But FF7... Holy cr*p! gameplay was excelent,story was great, and the game never got bored. FF7 is good game nowadays... WE WANT REMAKE FOR PS3!
