man i almost got it perfected
Bartz-Knight/Bare/Mime with Excalibur hes dealing about 4000 a turn with 2 handed
Reina-Mime-Summon/White/Time
i have her starting off with haste2 in hard battles....summoning odin leviathan and pheonix..im gona get bahamut...and she cures etc.
Faris-Sorcerer Flare Sword with white magic just incase
Krile-Knight/Ninja 2-swords and Sshot...im dealing 10000 a TURN....im gona beat the * out of X-Death lol
YES I BEAT THAT *!.....THE END lol

FFV is one of my faves... The story´s hella good, and the class system is cool too.
I beat Neo-Exdeath at a level of around 40, and yes, it took me many tries, coz of that Almagest and Vaccuum Wave skills... It was one of the hardest final bosses I faced.
And after that, I beat Omega at Lv44 with some sort of mixed-up strategy  (I couldn´t defeat Shinryuu anyway, he´s just too damn powerful...)
One cool tip to get rid of Neo-Exdeath easily: Have all Mimes, but have one of them with Summon ability and X-Magic, and other of them with Time Magic and White Magic, if you feel unsure. Cast Golem at your first summon, and use Haste2 with the Time Magic Mime. Then prepare: Cast X-Magic, 2 Bahamut Summons, and start mimicking. That really hurts, try it 
Never tried actually using it on Shinryuu, since he kills all my chars except for the ones with Coral Rings in one hit

Anyway, with his punches he hits you 2 hits of around 5000 lol, and kills you 2 characters, snowstorm kills all characters (except Dragoons ) and Tidal Wave also kills all characters unless you have Coral Rings... It´s by far the hardest boss I´ve ever faced.
