No need for that, I´m done with FFI in every way, I´ve just defeated the optional bosses tonight and this morning, not really hard if you ask me, except for Omega.
As for my FF "Checklist" (lol) we could say:
FFI: (DoS) Defeated Omega and Shinryu.
FFIV: Defeated normal game twice, one of those times in a day and half XD
FFV: Defeated game.
FFV Advance: Defeated game, Omega, Shinryu, Omega Mk. II, Neo-Shinryu and Enuo.
FFVI: Defeated game, got to level 99.
FFVII: Defeated game.
FFVIII: Defeated game, beat the weapons.
FFIX: Defeated game.
NOTE: I put FFV twice, since FFV Advance is nowhere as hard as FFV for the SNES, same goes for FFI, but I haven´t finished the normal version ^^

One of the coolest things in FFII is the level up system, you could mold your own character. It was always pretty annoying to do so, but still something good.

2 one could never beat 2 never... 2 was awsome i adore the story and the charecter firion(of kool i remembered his name! now theres also guy umm dang it! whats her name, minwu, uhh ricard, uhh dang it! the monk guy... and the 4th guy you had when you got killed at the beginnin of the game and for 1 i just remember lich and chaos...) and i like the way to gain hp and mp and train magick in stead of buying it( you buyit but you dont buy the next level of the spell like firaga) oh and you had to train ultima and i also like soul of rebirth making it worth even more to beat it... and im 1 i got to lvl 88 so it was really easy to beat chaos and i took me about 2 months or so( i played like 1-2 hours a day and not a single walk throught) and i took me about 4-5 months for 2( same thing no walk throuw and 1-2 hours a day( but exeptions for saturday(4-6 hours a day))) and the story line for 1 is used alot of time and the one of two is atleast changed abit like the war is in a different way or some thing...FINAL FANTASY II IS BETTER THAN FINAL FANTASY I!GO FINAL FANTASY II!

Well, FFI´s story was used a lot of times since FFI rocked lol, I personally loved FFI way more than FFII.
Also, I agree with you Randos, the Whisperwind Cove was great

I loved the story between both, but FFII's emotions of betral and anarchy was brilliant. It's a close match...but I pick 2.

there's no since in reviving old topics just to offer an opinion. there are more than enough opportunities to do so in the newer threads.
