EXSUSE ME!! but power doesnt go just under the catagory of phyically stenth aeris had more magic and magic defense then anyone else making her usful with stronger spells, also she could heal quite well so i belive to that being power within its self plus she sacrificed her self knowing that sephiroth would most likly kill her, she understood what was serhitoths motives before anyone else did, she had the power of the cetra and the planet and her grasp plus she could understand cloud a bit better than tifa was able to do she understood the problem with cloud yet didnt mention it directly, she saw right though him tifa just stood back and watch as she was already aware of what was happening plus she already for the most part knew cloud problem yet didnt stand up at the last minute, it took the sacrifice of aeris to have her realise what was in front of her face and what she had to do.

My personal opinion is Yuffie not that tough compare to Tifa, but in term of skills she might win Tifa - agility remember? Being fast and agile is an advantage in battles, easier to avoid melee, ranged, magical attacks too.
But somehow after watching Advent Children, my hope for Yuffie went down crushing...she almost get blown from Neo Bahamut's slow charging mouth breath and if Cid is not here to safe the day....she will be a fried materia stealer.

Well... Aerith is the most sweetest and care about nearly everyone she meets.
Scarlet is coldhearted and has a great lust for power.
So Tifa is, by running her own bar, fighting with her fists and being member of Avalance, the toughest girl of FFVII.

Yup. Scarlet did punch Tifa quite hard in the part where Tifa was going to get executed. But Tifa fights with her fists whereas Scarlet just slaps.
