I concur they should have gone for a 3d film rather than a live action one
and as for this whole thing of games being movies being a bad movie. Thats a touchy topic. Spirits within was crap but advent children was brilliant I think the game shouldnt be made into a non playable version but the characters really have to live up to their expectations that the game has given them. they also have to write a completly new story that would fit into the plot of the game because no one wants play a game and then watch someone act out again for them
