first of dogs are better then cats hands down and i am not 100% sure it just talks about having a pet and in a clip you see the guy with a dog.

Dogs are worse than cats. You have to take dogs out on walks and you have to pick up their leavings whereas you can let a cat out into the back garden and they'll bury their leavings. Also, cats have a tendency to be intelligent unlike a large amount of dogs. Note that I didn't say all dogs before you say that you have an intelligent dog, even though it probably isn't since the only intelligent dogs are working dogs such as sheep dogs and guide dogs.
Anyway, I think that I would mistreat the dog if it was the only pet you could have in Fable 2. If you couldn't tell, I hate dogs.

update: i just preordered fable 2 finally and i was talking to the guy at EBgames and he says that you can only have a dog but that depending on how you treat him will change the way he acts like if you beat him stuff like that he will be mean to other people...i also got pub games for preordering. the game comes out there okay not great but the good thing is you can earn gill for your charter before the game comes out and if you win in tournaments you can get some good items to.

True. It seems stupid that they would think that everyone likes dogs so no one would want another pet. Also, when's Fable 2 out in America? I want to know so I can roughly guess when it's out here in the UK.

Rock Band 2 and SPORE came out quite a while ago. I don't think Fallout 3's out yet (in the UK anyway) and I haven't heard of Dead Space.
Anyway, that's going off topic. I still find it stupid that the only option for a pet is a dog. Do you have to have a pet?
